beKleidung

is the title of an exhibition @ the mayer49 art-house in Frankfurt/M. with and about clothing as theatrical means. Three costume designers: Anna Viebrock, Pramila Chenchanna, and Lasha Iashvili are presenting very creative fabrics & clothing for various stages. Most of them had been used in opera and theater performances in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

All creations are wearable, except the “film-dress” by Pramila, which consists of several meters of analogue 35 & 70 mm filmstrips.

ist der Titel einer Ausstellung im Kunsthaus mayer49 in Frankfurt/M. mit und über Kleidung als theatralisches Mittel. Drei Kostümbildner/innen: Anna Viebrock, Pramila Chenchanna und Lasha Iashvili präsentieren phantasievolle Bühnen(be)kleidung. Die meisten davon wurden für Opern- und Theateraufführungen in Deutschland, der Schweiz und Österreich verwendet.

Sämtliche Kreationen sind tragbar, mit Ausnahme des „Filmkleids“ von Pramila, das aus mehreren Metern analoger 35 & 70 mm Filmstreifen besteht.
