CAMP KONRAD

"Camp Konrad" is the local nickname for the ruins of a 600 sqm flat-roofed villa which was originally planned to become a guest-house and retreat for the first chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Konrad Adenauer.

Although nearly completed in 1956 the building had never been used and its remains are now hidden amidst a forest on a hill in the "Eifel", a low mountain range in Germany close to the border to Belgium.

I took the photos on two occasion, one in 2014 and the other in 2015.

Many thanks to HP.Böffgen.
