ASMARA
At first glance, the capital of Eritrea resembles a time-machine which had come to a standstill some decades ago.
Looking more thoroughly, this is not the case. Whereas the elders may remain in their identity of successful freedom fighters, the younger generation is eager to step forward, to turn a backward oriented perspective into an open and positive future.
